About the founder

Karyn Lutes, MA, CCC-SLP, a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist, and CA Credentialed Teacher.

Brain Boost Academy was started in 1993, in Arroyo Grande, California.

Karyn remained curious about the latest brain research and how that research could help her to make better and faster results in the children, teens, and adults that she worked with.

After working in school districts, hospitals, and private practice, Karyn decided to expand her influence by hiring passionate and effective Speech and Language Pathologists and Therapeutic Learning Coaches to make greater changes.
